The UnConvention 2012 was a great success, reflecting our organizational mission of bringing together diverse opinion leaders across the political, business, and NGO spectrum to find common ground on urgent issues.

SRI Conference 2012
At this year’s SRI Conference, President and CEO Bill Shireman moderated a dynamic plenary on “Closing the Loop: Corporate Responsibility for 21st Century Waste Recovery Systems,” featuring Kim Jeffery, President & CEO of Nestlé Waters North America and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., President of the Waterkeeper Alliance. Stay tuned for video of this provocative panel.
Additionally, Future 500’s Senior Director of Stakeholder Engagement moderated a Natural Gas Fracking breakout panel.
The stakeholder dynamics around Extended Producer Responsibility are evolving quickly. Companies, NGOs and SRIs are now coming to the table to work collaboratively on recycling policy.
