As the year comes to a close, our team in Hong Kong has just started our final open programme of 2019: the 2019 Vietnam Global Leaders Programme. In Hanoi, participants will experience the vibrant Vietnamese economy first-hand; a country which sees both opportunities and risks from global geopolitical change. Like all of our programmes, the Vietnam GLP will encourage participants to think critically about regional opportunities, to separate reality from the hype, and to think big when it comes to new ideas.

Upcoming Programmes

The answers to today’s challenges will not be found in an air-conditioned business school. From climate change and extreme weather to geopolitical trade tensions and inequality-driven social discontent, global businesses need engaged, empathetic and knowledgeable leaders if they are to succeed.

 

These are the leadership qualities — Knowledge, Communication and Empathy — that GIFT fosters through our executive education offerings, from our two-week experiential programmes to our one-day outcome-driven workshops.

 

GIFT will start 2020 with two programmes from our Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur offices.

 

In early March, GIFT’s HK office will take participants to Yangon, Myanmar for a programme with BRAC, the world’s largest NGO, on a project to expand its microfinance efforts and create a more inclusive financial system for Myanmar.

 

Then, in late March and early April, GIFT’s KL office will bring together top talent from Malaysia’s public, private and civil society sectors to work on a project to elevate indigenous arts and culture to drive economic development in Sarawak, Malaysia.
