All over the world, wind power is on the rise and this is especially true in the U.S. as evidenced by the recently concluded American Wind Energy Association’s WINDPOWER 2018. Developers are scrambling to get wind farms built before the production tax credit (PTC) steps down. Safe-harbored equipment sits at the ready in large distribution centers in North America and banks are competing to finance wind power because the returns are great.
I hope you’ll take some time to flip through your May/June Issue to learn about who’s who in offshore wind; new utility green tariffs, repowering and innovative O&M techniques.
Enjoy!
