Strong international partnership for landscape protection, ecosystem restoration and regenerative economy: World Future Council and German Ocean Foundation acquire shares of the United Sustainability Group The World Future Council Foundation is taking over shares of the United Sustainability GmbH, as well as the German Ocean Foundation / Deutsche Meeresstiftung, the founder of the Hamburg Climate Week and owner of the ocean research ship Aldebaran, Frank Schweikert. With this wide-reaching and highly innovative step, the non-profit organisations and their representatives, among them dozens of international celebrities, scientists and award winners from the fields of environmental and climate protection, human and international rights, demonstratively support the team of the United Sustainability Group and its founder, the well respected geoscientist and sustainability researcher Dr. Daniel Dahm and his partners.

 

United Sustainability GmbH is the investment company of the United Sustainability Group, which focuses on an emerging, regenerative economy. The company targets the renaturation of degraded ecosystems, anti-desertification and the improvement of the earth’s natural basis of life. Through investments in ecosystem restoration and ecological agriculture and forestry, the natural ecosystems and food chains as well as the climate and oceans can be protected and strengthened. In additon, investments for the development and provision of the daily infrastructural necessities of life in the fields of renewable energies, freshwater, medicine and health care, education, recycling and circular economy ought to be realized. The World Future Council was initiated by the founder of the Right Livelihood Award (known as the Alternative Nobel Prize), Jakob von Uexküll, and sees itself as the “voice of future generations”. The purpose of the World Future Council is to raise awareness of the rights of future generations among decision-makers and to promote a policy of sustainability and justice. The German Ocean Foundation /Deutsche Meeresstiftung was initiated by the founder of the Hamburg Climate Week and owner of the ocean research ship Aldebaran, Frank Schweikert, together with the media entrepreneur and music producer Frank Otto. The Deutsche Meeresstiftung is dedicated to the sustainable development of marine and nature conservation and a careful, regenerative use of the oceans.
