OUTFRONT Media Announces Exclusive Agreement with Envision Solar to Deploy Eco-Friendly, Solar Powered EV Charging Network in San Diego

As you know I have consistently focused Envision’s efforts on three market verticals: EV charging, outdoor media and energy security. Almost all of our growth, so far, has come from EV charging and we are only just getting started with great customers like NYC and the State of California. This year, we have also made significant progress in the energy security side of our business with our EV ARC™ product surviving category 5 winds in the Virgin Islands (nothing else did) and the various emergency preparedness events we have powered for first responders this year.

Below you will see what I consider to be potentially one of the most significant, if not the most significant, announcements in our company’s history. This is the beginning of executing our strategy to leverage the tremendous marketing potential of our units when they are deployed in the public domain. I have been working with them for years but they recently approached me with this initiative and they are uniquely and aggressively positioned to get it done. Success means networks of EV ARC™ units deployed across San Diego and other cities, offering free “driving on sunshine,” monetized by naming rights and sponsorship deals just like the sports stadiums and bike-share programs you are already familiar with. Everyone has heard of Petco Park and Qualcomm Stadium and there will come a time when they have all heard of the (fill-in-the-blank) Solar Powered EV charging network.

Envision Solar’s inventions and products will make that happen. It’s a paradigm shift in transportation. It’s good for the environment, it’s good for the economy and it’s great for Envision Solar. I believe we will have a very busy 2018 and we will begin to add new opportunities for recurring revenues as a result of this new initiative.

The agreement will give OUTFRONT Media exclusive rights to market and sell the naming rights to the EV ARC™ solar-powered charging station network

NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — OUTFRONT Media Inc. (NYSE: OUT) announced today its agreement with Envision Solar International, Inc. (OTC: EVSI), pursuant to which OUTFRONT will market and sell the naming rights for Envision Solar’s network of solar-powered electric vehicle EV ARC charging stations across San Diego.

Envision Solar’s EV ARC™ charging stations are solar powered, wireless and transportable, providing for easily deployed, environmentally friendly energy, free of charge, to anyone driving an electric vehicle in San Diego. OUTFRONT Media will be responsible for procuring a naming rights sponsor for the EV ARC™ charging station network throughout San Diego, one of the most valuable advertising markets in the U.S., and Envision Solar will design, build and install the stations, showcasing how media sales can enable the advancement of clean energy use within one of America’s great cities. The EV ARC™charging stations will also serve San Diego as a backup power services during emergency situations.
