For over fifty years, we have successfully driven mobilization, volunteerism advocacy and policy initiatives to pressure our leaders to put planet over profits and politics.
In 1970, 20 million people in the United States demanded laws to protect the environment, paving the way for the Clean Air, Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts. This year, despite the limitations from COVID-19, The Great Global Cleanup drew millions of volunteers worldwide, desperate for change, making a difference in their communities. Our Canopy Project, with your support, is creating reforestation projects in vulnerable communities across the planet. We’re also leading a global climate literacy campaign that has so far signed 550 organizations representing 100 countries and over 300 million people, putting strong pressure on the G20 this month and on global leaders at the COP26 this Fall in Glasgow.
