Intersolar North America will take place this year from July 8-11 in San Francisco, CA. Last year Intersolar welcomed close to 29,000 professionals from over 76 countries!
We are pleased to announce that Solar Energy International (SEI) is once again partnering with Intersolar to offer technical, in-depth solar trainings throughout the conference. And come visit us at our Booth #9726!
Theses trainings are designed for all levels of experience, whether you are new to PV or solar heating, diving into bigger projects, or already working with utility-sized systems. These workshops are geared for integrators, designers, technicians, engineers, and installers and will help advance your solar career through quality design and installation practices to ensure maximum system performance. Plus these trainings count for NABCEP CE credits!
Because YOU are a friend of SEI, you are eligible for the following training discounts! To register, go to Intersolar’s website!
This class will focus on a wide variety of topics with the goal of insuring PV system longevity, peak productivity, and predictable ROI. Stay at the forefront of installation techniques for systems up to 20MW, as enhanced ground-fault protection, line and load side connections, grounding and bonding, common installation errors, best practice operations and maintenance techniques, and 2012 building and fire code requirements will be discussed. This class is targeted to System Integrators, Experienced Installers, and Designers working in the residential and commercial grid-connected PV markets. NABCEP CE-6 hours (NEC: 2; Task Analysis: 4)
·ISGRP6801 -10% off SEI Advanced Grid-Connected PV Systems
The class will begin with the SRCC OG-100 collector certifications and how flat plate, evacuated tube and unglazed collectors address the applications they serve – pros and cons of each type of collector are included. The five types of solar heating systems used worldwide will be explained with drawings and discussions of the necessary components and their functions – the emphasis will center on freeze protected drainback and antifreeze systems. The SRCC OG-300 system program and navigation of the SRCC website will be discussed. Design and sizing systems and how this influences system and component selection will be explained.
The focus is safety, code-compliance, and a robust yet economical design for PV systems. 2011 NEC requirements, equipment selection strategies, array-to-inverter optimization, and installation best practices will be covered by instructors with field experience designing and installing all sizes of PV systems. This training is targeted to PV System Integrators, Designers, Engineers, and Experienced Installers working in any grid-connected PV market. NABCEP CE- 4 hours (NEC: 2; Task Analysis: 2)
·ISGRP8301 – 10% off Designing Grid-Connected PV Systems
An in-depth presentation on considerations for large systems, focusing on ground-mounted PV arrays, including system design, equipment choices and installation methods for optimal long-term performance, quality and cost considerations, and data monitoring and metering strategies. This training is targeted to: PV System Integrators, Designers, Engineers, Experienced Installers, Field Service Technicians, and Owner’s Representatives working on large PV systems. NABCEP CE- 4 hours (NEC: 2; Task Analysis: 2)
·ISGRP7801- 10% off Ground-mounted Solar Farms
Also, anyone is eligible for a free pass into the EXPO with this code: ISGRP207 ! Plus there are additional discounts if you want a PV package (ISGRP808) or a Solar Heating and Cooling package (ISGRP1305).
Finally, if you are thinking about applying for NABCEP Certification, NABCEP will be holding a presentation on Thursday, July 11 from 10:30-11:30am.
