Film inspires Public Television viewers to take immediate action toward sustainable energy choices

Milwaukee, Wis. – October 8, 2008 – Johnson Controls, the global leader in energy efficiency, is a proud sponsor of filmmaker Jeff Barrie’s award-winning documentary, Kilowatt Ours: A Plan to Re-Energize America (www.kilowattours.org). The film educates and empowers individuals to reduce their consumption of fossil fuels by making more energy-efficient and sustainable choices in their daily lives.

Throughout his journey the filmmaker encounters individuals, businesses, organizations, and communities who are leading the way, using energy conservation, efficiency and renewable, green power all while saving money and the environment.
