“Ethical Markets highly recommends this podcast with Roger McNamee, author of “Zucked: Waking Up To The Facebook Catastrophe”, 2019 on the culpability for the insurrection in the USA of Facebook (in which he is still a major investor), as well as Google, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and other advertising-driven profit-maximizing social media companies.

McNamee seems in basic agreement with my 5 Steps to reform in “Steering Social Media Towards Sanity”.  McNamee adds that all executives, IT scientists and behavioral psychologists designing and operating these platforms, business models, and algorithms be made personally liable for their violent, dangerous, and toxic content for the social harm caused to people and democracies now evidenced worldwide.
