FAIRR | November 2021

Jay OwenSustainability News, Beyond GDP, Latest Headlines

There has been a whirlwind of activity over the last few weeks. The FAIRR team has been busy with COP26 and we are delighted to have participated in some impactful Blue Zone events, including the High-Level Presidency event on Accelerating a Just Rural Transition to Sustainable Agriculture and an event on Mobilising Finance to Address Climate and Biodiversity Risk. I was honoured to sit alongside the US Agriculture Minister, Tom Vilsack, and the UAE Minister, Mariam Almheiri, to reinforce the importance of innovation in the food system. Check out the recordings of all our events on our website and a summary of the announcements made here.

With COP26 now behind us, we are looking ahead to the launch of the fourth iteration of our flagship benchmark, the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index, on Wednesday, 1 December. JOIN US for our online launch event (details below), followed by four Members-only thematic sessions where analysts will dive deeper into the progress made by the world’s 60 largest meat, fish and dairy producers.

Finally, I am excited to invite you to the FAIRR Festive Drinks in London! It has been two years since we celebrated with friends and colleagues, and we very much look forward to ringing in the festive season with you all in person. We sent out a formal invitation on Friday, so RSVP if you can and would like to attend. I look forward to seeing you all there!
