The 2nd Annual Middle East Corporate Social Responsibility Forum will be held in Dubai UAE, from 2-4 November 2008. This prestigious conference will be held under the patronage of UAE Minister of Social Affairs, HE Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roomi, and will congregate global and regional experts over these three days to expound the importance of galvanising the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) movement.

The Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE), a leading advisory, coaching and training organisation, will participate in the event by Chairing the conference and by presenting a workshop discussing what is carbon footprint, its relation to climate change and how it can be incorporated within organisations’ CSR Strategy. The workshop is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 4 November, at 13.15.

CSE, a pioneer in the area of carbon footprint, will also be presenting case studies which it has realised with the Swiss organisation, myclimate, a non-for-profit organisation that calculates carbon footprint and offsets CO2 emissions to environmental projects.

Our organisation was one of the first companies to introduce the concept of CSR in the MENA region and to this day, we actively engage with private and public sector clients for the advancement of sustainability within their operations and organisational framework. Current and past clients in the region include DIFC, DAFZA, Tecom, King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), and Dubai Executive Council.

I look forward to seeing you there
