Mark Fischer (Inspire Commerce), Amanda Bybee (Namaste Solar), Seleyn DeYarus (Best Organics), Hannah Davis (Impact Hub Boulder) and Seana Steffen (Restorative Leadership Institute) spoke on a panel called The Social Enterprise Solution and B(enefit) Corp Movement: What it Takes To Be Best FOR The World at the Colorado Bioneers Conference.

Mightybytes, Inc. talked about their experience as a B Corp and the value they draw from it in a piece in the Chicago Sun-Times about B Corps and benefit corporations.

Several B Corps were involved in the recent acquisition of B Corp New Leaf Community Markets by fellow B Corp New Seasons Market. Jonathan Storper and his law firm, Hanson Bridgett, represented New Leaf Community Markets. Partnership Capital Growth (Janica Lane) was the broker of the deal. Eric Friedenwald-Fishman and Metropolitan Group worked with both companies to develop the media strategy.

Tim Masson (Ian Martin Group) hosted a dinner, B Corp Keynote, and B Corp panel with IMG, ManOverboard, and soon-to-B Manitoba Harvest, presenting to the the HR Association of Manitoba.

Ryan Honeyman (Honeyman Sustainability Consulting) and Bill Acevedo (Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean) hosted anevent on December 4th at the Oakland Impact Hub to explain what B Corps are and let companies know how they can join the movement.

GoLite dedicated the first page of their catalogue to talking about the B the Change campaign.

BarberGale added a “We’re a proud Certified B Corp” explanation and logo to their homepage.

New Leaf Community Markets added the B Corp seal and a press release about their certification to their homepage.

Hugo Neu Recycling added the B Corp seal to their website the day after they certified!

First Affirmative Financial Network added the B the Change logo to theirFacebook page.

Therafit Shoe are highlighting products from other B Corps in their 12 Days of Giving Back program, and will give away a basket of B Corp goodies to one lucky customer!

Patagonia, Inc. and New Belgium Brewing teamed up to create California Route, an organic lager. Check out the announcement here with NBB’s shout out about being a B Corp.

sweetriot is encouraging Studio E9 to join the B Corp community

Tim Masson (Ian Martin Group) wrote an article for the front page of the Business Section of the Winnipeg Free Press (Manitoba’s largest newspaper)—both print and digital.

GoLite products are now being carried in select Whole Foods stores, and the B Corp logo is prominently displayed on their in-store signage.

Net Balance hosted a B Corp breakfast as part of Melbourne Knowledge Week that attracted about 70 attendees.

Ian Martin Group hosted an information session about B Corps in Winnipeg.

Mightybytes, Inc. in their quarterly newseletter linked to their B Corp Champions Retreat blog post that highlighted some of the sessions and experiences.

TriCiclos has organized a recycling initiative that several major Chilean CEOs have joined, including PepsiCo, TriCiclos, Nestlé, Walmart, Coca Cola and Uniliver. The pledge had the B Corp logo prominently displayed on it!

Eric Henry (TS Designs, Inc.) is on Company Shops Market’s (a prospective B Corp) board and championed them to pursue certification.

Cumplo Chile S.A. launched a special report about their work and the work of fellow B Corp Late! for the news channel 24 Horas.

Arthur Woods (Imperative) joined B Lab’s Sophie Faris, Attorney Jeff Fromm, Chris Grew from American Prison Data Systems and Myscha Byruck from the City of New York to offer his perspective on B Corps to small and growing businesses in the New York City.

Kyle Scrimgeour (Core Capital Management) is helping a friend’s company (Archi’s Acres) become a benefit corporation.

Jed Davis (Cabot Creamery Cooperative) and Sarah Joannides (New Seasons Market) met with the B Lab team to offer suggestions including organizing B Corps to provide case studies to help attract more B Corps

Impact Makers, Inc., Virginia Community Capital, and Greater Richmond Grid pitched the Best for Communities story to the Richmond Newspaper.

Vanessa Mueggler (Gestion Immobiliere Quo Vadis Inc) recently started a blog for entrepreneurs and wrote a great piece about B Corps here.

Carey Underwood (King Arthur Flour Company) sat on a panel at the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility fall conference on “Measuring what Matters: Mission, Metrics and Management.” She talked about King Arthur Flour’s experience with the B Impact Assessment and encouraged attendees to check out the public beta of the v4 assessment!

Andean Naturals, Inc. includes that they are on the 2013 Best for the World list in their Google result caption.

Tim Frick (Mightybytes, Inc.) sent an email to the Climate Ride database, about 22,000 folks, about why he is proud to have participated in 6 Climate Rides, and he included that it has helped him give back to organizations like B Lab.

Nate Morris (Rubicon Global) shared the B Corp story with thousands of college-aged social entrepreneurs in his keynote address at the Enactus Fall Leadership Conference on 9/27/13.

Pymwymic shared their B Corp profile and the fact that they are helping launch B Lab Europe in an email newsletter to their community.

New Seasons Market was honored in Supermarket News for The Community Service Award of the year and the piece included a great section on NSM becoming a B Corp.

Natalie Voland (Gestion Immobiliere Quo Vadis Inc) spoke at McGill Innovative Week informing students and other business owners about B Corps and what they stand for!

Elemental Herbs talked about the usefulness of B Corporation certification in their “Tips for Running a Triple Bottom Line Business” feature in Inside Outdoor Magazine.

The Projection Room traveled to Sydney to host the first workshop for potential B Corps in the city and hosted the first B Corp Breakfast there.

Eric Friedenwald-Fishman (Metropolitan Group) and Justin Yuen (FMYI)gave great interviews in this Sustainable Business Oregon article about the 15 companies planning to register as benefit companies on January 2nd, the first effective day!

Selecta Auto Body was profiled for being the first B Corp body shop in anarticle in Parts & People.

John Montgomery (Montgomery & Hansen) gave a keynote address at Sustainable Cleveland all about benefit corporations. Watch part 1 here.

Jill Robbins (HomeFree, LLC) highlighted their B Corp certification in HomeFree’s company description for a Chase grant competition, saying “HomeFree is a Certified B Corporation for our strong commitment to our community, including social and environmental responsibility.”

New Seasons Market won one of Portland Business Journal’s Sustainable Business Oregon Awards and the page honoring them showed off a New Seasons bag proudly proclaiming their B Corp certification.

Peter Athans (Mightybytes, Inc.) introduced B Lab to Evanston, IL’s Sustainability Director, Catherine Hurley. B Lab is now talking with Catherine about Evanston running its own “Best For Evanston” campaign to help local businesses measure what matters.

Elizabeth Hill (Rubicon Global) sent around the B the Change gift box email to all employees.

Cutting Edge Capital wrote a piece titled “It Pays to be a B Corp” in their November newsletter. They even gave a shout out to fellow B Corp Katovich & Kassan Law Group for readers interested in becoming benefit corporations.

Opticos Design, Inc. wrote a great piece about why they are both a Certified B Corporation and a benefit corporation, which they shared with their network through their newsletter.

EcoWatch wrote an article about fellow B Corp Oliberté becoming the world’s first Fair Trade USA Certified shoemaker
