Take to the streets with us on Monday, October 29, and stand for justice.
The United States Supreme Court’s temporary stay on trial proceedings in Juliana v. United States, the constitutional climate lawsuit brought by 21 young Americans, has yet to be lifted.
The youth plaintiffs will not begin their trial in open court on Monday, but their voices will be heard around the country. While the Supreme Court has placed a temporary pause on the start of the youths’ trial, no one can put a pause on the #youthvgov rallies.
Solidarity rallies will go forward around the country, as planned, this Sunday and Monday. In fact, with the case pending before the Supreme Court, rallying in support of these young people has never been so important. Find your nearest rally here to support these youth plaintiffs in the fight for their right to be heard at trial. We need to stand up and LET THE YOUTH BE HEARD.
Use this social media toolkit to show your solidarity online and help get the word out about the rallies to your networks. Tune in to our Facebook livestream of the rally outside the courthouse in Eugene, Oregon, where the youth plaintiffs, their attorneys and masses of supporters will rally from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST on Monday.
