Bringing best-in-class ESG solutions to the market

I am pleased to share this announcement that to better serve our clients and the business divisions of S&P Global, Trucost ESG Analysis has now been elevated to an S&P Global offering.

S&P Global’s comprehensive view of ESG throughout global markets provides companies, financial institutions and governments with financially relevant analytics and timely data to assess risk, uncover opportunities and inform long term sustainable growth. In recognition of the growing importance of ESG, the S&P Global board has committed prioritized investment to expand its ESG data and analytical capabilities.

This will continue the collaboration of Trucost with the business divisions of S&P Global to bring best-in-class ESG solutions to the market. Since Trucost was acquired by S&P Dow Jones Indices in 2016, significant investment has enabled us to expand our ESG analytics and tools to better inform your sustainable growth strategies.

Recent highlights include:

·     New tools to identify market risks and opportunities related to global sustainability goals – Corporate Carbon Pricing Tool, SDG Evaluation Tool and Green Transition Tool

·     Our Carbon Scorecard, applying five carbon exposure metrics across equity and bond market benchmarks to provide a barometer of the carbon intensity of financial markets

·     New Environmental Indices launched by S&P Dow Jones Indices, selected by GPIF, World’s Largest Pension Fund

·     Green Evaluations from S&P Global Ratings, an asset-level environmental credential commissioned by 26 market participants since launch in 2017

We look forward to the opportunity to continue to support your sustainability journey with broader ESG data, deeper insight and better tools. In the meantime, you’ll notice an updated identity on our communications and website www.trucost.com and you can find out more about S&P Global here.

I will be pleased to answer any questions you have.
