Mainstream Energy Investment Meets SRI

Ethical Markets - RResource Efficiency, Greentech, Poetry by Hazel Henderson

Opal Financial Group’s Energy Investment Forum will bring together experts from throughout the country to discuss the most important topics in the energy sector. Attendees will represent many of the nation’s pension funds, endowments, and trusts as well as representing utility companies, federal and state government agencies, and energy-equipment companies. Discussions on upcoming and current investment opportunities will cover many topics, including energy funds, infrastructure projects, equipment advances and energy systems.

While this forum is weighted to mainstream energy sources and investments, organizers have included voices from the SRI community, including representatives from CASSE (Center for Advancement of the Steady State Economy), Green Planet Power Solutions, Green Star Energy Solutions, GreenPoint Partners, the Millennium Institute and Public Citizen’s Energy Program.

With the current geopolitical and climatic state, this conference provides a forum in which energy experts can inform and collaborate with the nation’s largest institutional investors.  Ethical Markets supports this effort by joining as a media partner and by tracking progress in private investments in growing the green economy, of which energy is key, with our Green Transition Scoreboard®.
