ILLEGITIMATE ELECTION CANNOT PRODUCE
A LEGITIMATE WINNER
Citizens have filed with the Supreme Court a Motion to Stay the
Inauguration due to Russian influence in the 2016 elections. Constitutional
conflicts are cited that clear the path for a new election.
Washington, D.C. –“If Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence won fair and square, the
American electorate must move forward and embrace them as our new President and
Vice-President,” states Jerroll M. Sanders, legal strategist and spokesperson for the pro
se effort to halt tomorrow’s inauguration.
Sanders—who was a plaintiff in a companion action filed in a different district
court—says, “There is simply too much at stake to proceed with the inauguration. We
cannot hand the office of President and Vice President of the United States over to
Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence knowing that their election outcomes were materially
determined by a third-party seeking to undermine and destabilize the U.S.
Government.”
Sanders explains that the U.S. President is the leader of the free world and
oversees this nation’s vast resources, including our military personnel, nuclear arsenal,
economy, foreign and domestic affairs, and the spending of billions of taxpayer dollars.
“The tampering with the 2016 elections was of such an unprecedented magnitude
that an extraordinary remedy is warranted,” says Sanders. “And the solution is simple:
We want a revote, but laws on the books do not provide for such a remedy; so Congress
and the President must fashion one.” Sanders explains that the ultimate goal of the case
is to secure a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court permanently preventing Donald J.
Trump, Mike Pence, and congressional members elected during the 2016 election cycle,
from taking office. A declaratory ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court labelling the
election invalid would compel President Obama to declare a State of Emergency and
oversee a new election under the watchful eyes of citizens using hand-counted paper
ballots for the revote.
The argument in this case hinges on the Constitution’s “Guarantee Clause.”
Sanders argues that the United States failed to protect states against invasions during
the 2016 election cycle, as required by the Guarantee Clause, thereby allowing cyber
terrorists to invade U.S. Cyber territory and intrude into election systems throughout
the nation. Sanders says, “No one but the cyber terrorists know the extent to which
election system invasions were determinative of election outcomes.”
Hundreds have been supporting this effort. And today at 3pm, Brenda
Ferrell will be on the steps of the Supreme Court with many others. Ferrell
says, “We are waiting on justice from Justice Ginsburg. I ask you to join me
in standing up for our democracy.”
