Special Message from Rick Ulfik, Founder of We, The World and the WE Campaign at WE.net

We are seeing frustration and rage inflaming communities across the US as the decades-long cumulative trauma of catastrophic racial and economic inequality is exposed for all to see:

  • 100,000+ deaths from COVID-19, disproportionately affecting communities of color and lower income populations in general
  • Recent videotaped incidents showing the world the continuing deadly use of force by police and others against unarmed African Americans George Floyd, Ahmoud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and others
  • Millions of people are out of work and can’t pay their rent because of the pandemic. And now many politicians and businesses are trying to open up the economy without a clear science-based national strategy that would protect workers (along with their families and their communities) who feel they have no choice but to go back to work in order to pay the rent and put food on the table.

So we ask “What Can the Future Hold for Youth?” (See details below)

We hope you join us for this and many other programs during June that Inspire, Inform and Involve!

Thank you!
