The Next Steps for Moving from Vision to Action

Ethical MarketsTrendspotting

Planning is now full speed ahead for the World Future Society’s next annual conference, WorldFuture 2012: Dream. Design. Develop. Deliver, to be held July 27-29 in Toronto.

We’re especially excited about the 2012 program, which will follow up on the work we began in Vancouver at the 2011 conference, “Moving from Vision to Action.” Our goal will be to help break down that complex process: Each step in generating implementable solutions is necessary and important, but most people may only specialize in one area—dreaming, designing, developing, or delivering.

The conference will bring all of these solution-building steps together, along with a diverse array of solution partners. In these stimulating two and a half days, you’ll meet some of the world’s leading thinkers to examine our prospects in a range of areas critical to our common future, including:

• Business, careers, and global financial issues.
• Technology, innovation, and exploration.
• Governance, communities, and civil society.
• Resources and the environment.
• Education and learning.
• Consciousness and spirituality.
• Health, medicine, and wellness.
• Futures methodologies and processes, and much more.

We’re anticipating as many as 1,000 attendees from more than 35 countries around the world, offering extraordinary diversity and richness to the event, so we are most anxious for you to plan now to come to Toronto next July.
