How are Innovation Ecosystems evolving and revolutionizing civic collaboration?

UIX Global, in partnership with our title sponsor, The City of San Leandro, is pleased to invite you to the Prototyping the Future Conference & Expo, at the Zero Net Energy Center in San Leandro, California. Prototyping the Future will explore the frontier of how breakthroughs in technology and community engagement are shaping the development of gigabit cities in the near future. You will be exchanging ideas with fellow tech and social innovation thought leaders, and enjoying a compelling day of networking, workshops, and hands-on experience.

Technology is evolving at exponential rates, accelerating as we move towards the proliferation of gigabit networks. This evolution, combined with a focus on experiential design and the explosion of entrepreneurship and maker culture, is quickly becoming the defining factor in innovation ecosystem development. Everywhere you look, businesses and institutions are in radical transformation, and new industry sectors are rapidly forming. In our cities, we are seeing moves towards increased experimentation, public/private/civic partnerships and a strategic desire to attract creative culture.
