Network for Sustainable Financial Markets has posted a new item, ‘NSFM Participants and UNPRI Academic Network Collaborate to Promote Responsible Investment Research; Raj Thamotheram on working together towards sustainable capitalism

NSFM hosted an interactive workshop on Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice at the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Academic Network-CBERN 2012 Conference in Toronto in October, 2012.  

The workshop addressed challenges faced by academics in fostering practitioner use of their research and explored routes for bypassing roadblocks to financial industry adoption of SRI research insights.  Materials from the workshop are available here.

NSFM Director, Raj Thamotheram gave one of the keynote speeches for ACCA?s recent week of ?Accounting for the Future?.

His theme was that accountants and investors could do a lot more for sustainable capitalism by working together.
