Media Briefing on Start of
IPBES Values Assessment, Mexico City, 13 Nov.
All members of the media are invited by the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) to attend a media briefing about the start of the new multi-year expert assessment on the many values of nature.
The briefing will be during the first author meeting of the assessment – and will be addressed by the four assessment co-chairs, the Head of the IPBES Work Programme and representatives of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and the Mexican Commission for Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (CONABIO).
The briefing will also see the formal announcement of the more than 70 leading experts, from around the world, who will serve as authors for the assessment.
