As always, lots of exciting news in my world. Here’s what’s going on:

For those in Toronto, I’m hosting a free workshop at the new Staples co-working space this Wednesday March 13th at 6pm. Register here

For those with cable TV, I’m appearing on BNN Bloomberg’s Market Call on this Thursday March 14th at noon. As always, your questions about companies and ETFs can be emailed to [email protected] or call in live 1-855-326-6266. The full episode will be posted online Thursday afternoon on the Market Call website.

For those in Kamloops, I’m speaking at an event (via webcam) for the BC Sustainable Energy Association next Wednesday March 20th at 7pm PST until I fall asleep. Register here

And for the rest of you with internet access, I’m now writing a weekly piece for Corporate Knights called the Sustainable Stock Showdown where we take a company that is performing poorly from both a financial and an ethical perspective, and compare it to a sustainability leader that you could replace it with inside your portfolio. The first week we did SNC Lavalin vs. WSP Global, last week we did Kraft Heinz vs. McCormick, and this week we’re brewing up something in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day.

Also online now is an Impact Investing podcast I recorded with David O’Leary from Kind Wealth. It was a lot of fun speaking with David, so listen to it here.

Cheers,

Tim Nash (Sustainable Economist)
