My small Bunloit rewilding project team has had an idea for an exemplar of the rural green new deal in our wider  effort to sequester more carbon, grow more biodiversity, and to create as many jobs as we can. I presented it yesterday to the Rural Housing Scotland summit, and you can see it here. (10 minutes, pictures and audio).

Please be safe and well

Rural Housing Summit – Bunloit

Feb 26

On Friday 26th of February, our founder and Executive Director, Jeremy Leggett, delivered a presentation at the Rural Housing Scotland Summit, on the topic of Repopulating Rural.

Watch the full talk below to find out what Bunloit’s answer is to the question posed by RHS; “Repopulating our rural areas can build sustainable communities for local and national benefit, but what is needed to ensure sustainable and positive regrowth in rural areas, and how do initiatives such as rewilding and the green economy fit with the needs of local people?”
