What is the impact of COVID-19 on people, livelihoods, and small and medium-sized enterprises?

Where can we find inspiration, examples of success, and solutions that can be scaled or replicated to jump start green recoveries?

How can we accelerate and raise ambition for green recovery plans aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the Decade of Action?

On 16 July (8-9:15am EDT/2-3:15pm CEST), join us for the HLPF2020 Side Event, Recovering better: Global Opportunities for Jumpstarting the Real Economy #GOforSDGs, where we will hear from experts and actors in the real economy on these critical questions.

This event will also present the “Menu of Services” from the Global Opportunities for SDGs (GO4SDGs) initiative; showcasing the different tools that the partners can bring to the regional and national level in order to create a scaling effect as countries seek to orient their recovery packages to the real economy.

Recovering Better is jointly organised by SEED and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) with support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety of Germany (BMU) and the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP).
