Leading the Way to Impact Performance Comparisons
Transparency around impact performance is a key knowledge gap facing the market. To address this, the GIIN undertook the first collaborative industry effort to bring greater rigor and refinement to impact performance comparison.
In October, the GIIN unveiled a new approach for rigorously comparing impact data between investments through its newest series, Evaluating Impact Performance. This new approach aggregates investment-level data to demonstrate the comparability of impact results within a sector. The first two installments of the series focus on housing and clean energy access.
