Join us for a conversation with Adya Siddarth, a software Engineer who also has expertise in Urban Policy & Practice. The purpose of her work is to establish creative ways for engineers and technologists to rethink and act for societal and environmental well-being. In the IT sector, current Apps are in often limiting in terms of real impact for people and are largely agenda-driven with superficial targets. For example, an App for farmers in a project focused on the number of applications downloaded rather than increase in productivity or decrease in farmer suicides. We will also discuss how the conscious full spectrum response (CFSR) shifts the way Consulting happens – from prescribing solutions to creativity and co-creation fostered in any group– children, youth, social workers, faculty, experts, development professionals, policy makers.
