Climate Finance 2010, London, 9 & 10 November

Ethical Markets - RGreen Prosperity, Poetry by Hazel Henderson

The Cancun climate talks in December are likely to develop the framework by which billions of dollars of “fast-start” funding for climate change mitigation will be deployed over the next few years. Looking forward, these tens of billions are set to be scaled up to hundreds of billions each year by 2020, as forecasted by Ethical Markets’ Green Transition Scoreboard®.

Climate Finance 2010 will examine the evolution of these frameworks and will look at the role of “Carbon Markets 2.0” in delivering North-South financial transfers – and in creating low-carbon technology deployment opportunities. Ethical Markets is media partner, with our European correspondent, Lisa Cowan, attending.
