Green Festival Joins Forces with Farm Sanctuary
On June 10, 2017, Farm Sanctuary, America’s leading farm animal protection organization, will kick-off a NEW nationwide movement to outrun CRUELTY WITH COMPASSION with the New York City Plant Powered Run at Pier 84 at Hudson River Park. The New York City Plant Powered Run will raise funds and awareness for Farm Sanctuary, which works to protect farm animals from cruelty and change the way society views and treats these emotionally complex animals through rescue and advocacy.
