Beyond fears of collisions and costly efforts to clean up all the current space junk, astronomers are sounding additional alarms on how this inhibits space research. All this crass dash to make more money is justified on the hollow promises that this is to bring internet access to the poor! The real goal is to sell faster latency to high frequency traders and other greedy Wall Streeters! Shame!
