At the end of 2012, this fourth 2012 edition of the REN21 newsletter provides you with a comprehensive overview of recent activities of the REN21 Secretariat as well as its network members. We look back at an eventful year which saw further growth of renewable energy globally as well as diversification of renewable energy markets, despite some draw-backs in certain parts of the world. The renewable energy development during the last decade gives hope for a bright renewable energy future. How exactly this future will unfold depends on a series of parameters.
