Public Banking Institute News:
2018 has been the year of the public bank. As you can see from our latest map, people all across the country are becoming aware of, as one advocate put it, the “best kept secret in the country”: the successful power of a public bank.
2019 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the publicly owned Bank of North Dakota. You can help make 2019 the year public banks win!
**Thank you to everyone who’s working so hard to make Public Banks a reality! Please consider suggesting to your elected officials that they sign up for our PBI newsletter so that they can keep up to date.**
ICYMI: NEW VIDEO: Public banking made simple

We’ve written and produced this video — Public Banking Made Simple — to communicate the core concept in simple terms, showing how public banks can give towns and states more resources to apply to their community needs[watch video]
