Climate change is one of the largest systemic risks facing the economy and financial markets, and is a risk that cannot be diversified from long-term investor portfolios. Our new report details the urgency of global decarbonization, along with the risks and opportunities for electric utilities and their investors. The report also outlines the governance transformations these companies should implement to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The Climate Majority Project released the report to accompany the announcement of a new global investor initiative to accelerate decarbonization.
