This is going to be as – or more – important than the digital revolution.” – Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E, and ambassador for EV100

The We Mean Business coalition partners celebrated leading businesses taking action on climate this month at Climate Week NYC, along with many key milestones in the low-carbon transition.

More than 600 forward-looking businesses have now taken bold climate action, through the coalition’s Take Action campaign. Over 300 of these have committed to set emissions reduction targets through the Science Based Targets initiative.

Plus we welcome two new commitments helping to deliver the low-carbon transition. These are EV100, brought to you by The Climate Group, and the commitment to implement the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.

And the IKEA Foundation has announced that it is generously supporting the coalition with a $44.6 million grant across four years.
