Greetings from the Training Department of United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI)!

 

I am writing to you to kindly ask you if it would be possible for you to support us with the promotion of our Environmental & Social Risk Analysis (ESRA) Online Course, through your website, Newsletter and any other social media.

 

The ESRA Training Programme is a product of UNEP FI, INCAE Business School / Ecobanking Project and GIZ, and is one of the best-respected courses on the topic of how to establish and implement effective environmental and social risk management systems within financial institutions. We have trained approximately 5,000 professionals from the financial sector since 2005. 95% of the participants expressed in the Evaluation Forms that they would recommend the course to their colleagues.

 

The course has been offered in English, French, Spanish and will roll out the Chinese version from this year on.

Target audience: Risk managers and analysts in commercial, corporate, investment and retail banking in or dealing with developing countries and emerging markets.

 

Number of participants per course: In order to keep the high quality of our personalized course, the maximum number of participants that we accept per course is 24.

 

Contents: Each course is made up of five consecutive modules:

  1. Introduction to Sustainable Finance
  2. Identification of Environmental and Social Risks
  3. Categorization
  4. Evaluation of Environmental and Social Risks
  5. Administration of Environmental and Social Risks

Duration: Three weeks.

 

Time commitment: Two hours/day on average, Monday to Friday.

 

Timetable: Flexible, participants to set their own study times.
