Dear Katerva Community,

We are delighted to announce the beginning of a new partnership with Reboot the Future, starting with the introduction of the Imaginals Award into our catalogue. As first step an ‘Imaginal’ will be selected from our 10 Category Winners. An announcement will be made by 15th July.

Reboot the Future is a London based foundation with a vision is an increasingly compassionate and sustainable world – inspired by the leadership of the authors of its seminal book ‘Imaginal Cells: Visions of Transformation’.

Reboot promotes the Golden Rule as an ancient guiding that can used to motivate our own actions and hold leaders to account. The foundation works towards two goals: (1) Building a network of leaders across government, business and civil society who promote the golden rule as a guiding principle and (2) Building a social movement of people inspired by the Golden Rule.

The Imaginals Award will therefore be presented to the category winner that demonstrates values and actions aligned with the Golden Rule – ‘Treat others and the planet as you would wish to be treated.’

The challenges our planet now faces are have become indisputable. We may be the first generation to know that we are destroying the planet – but we are also the first generation to have the necessary tools and technology to change that harrowing fact.

Furthering this partnership, Katerva and Reboot the Future hope to inspire a new wave of leaders who have the will and want to change our world for the better – to become ‘Imaginals’. With a joint vision of a compassionate and sustainable world, the future looks promising for this partnership.

With all best wishes,
Bettina
