The World’s First Green Finance Sculpture-Tribute to Tessa Tennant

LaRae LongReforming Global Finance, Global Citizen

Thank you to those who have donated to the Green Finance Sculpture Project. We are still collecting donations and will let you know the total. All of your tributes to the late Tessa Tennant will be passed on.

We are delighted that Tim Marlow the artistic director of the Royal Academy of Arts in London will be joining the judging panel to comission the artist. As an international ‘first’- the sculpture aims to raise awareness and educate both the finance community and the wider public – present and future – on sustainable finance. Investment choices that affect not only the well-being of the planet, but the very existence of life itself. The sculpture will become a symbol of the movement, a global inspiration that will be adapted in other financial cities of the world.

Donations can be made via https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/cdpworldwidegiftaid. We would be grateful if you can make your donation by August 28th, 2018, or as soon as possible, so we can move forward with the commissioning process. The BT MyDonate platform accepts donations from banks from across the world and in all currencies. If you are a UK taxpayer making a personal donation you can get Gift Aid. The platform will send all donors a receipt but does not do refunds. Kindly contact Ciara Shannon ([email protected]) if your company is interested in making a corporate donation.

We are very excited by the positive feedback. Thank you again.

Best Wishes,

James Cameron, Chair of the Sculpture Committee
