NEW INVESTMENTS

sjf Invests in EnTouch

sjf Ventures has led an $8.25 million financing of EnTouch Controls.  Based in Richardson, TX, the company’s technology helps national restaurant and retail chains, franchise owners, and schools reduce energy costs and remotely manage facilities. “Significant investment has gone into energy management systems for large buildings and for homes, but very little into solutions for small retail facilities,” noted Dave Kirkpatrick, SJF Managing Director.  “EnTouch’s system utilizes the latest wireless and machine-to-machine technologies to deliver immediate energy savings and enterprise-level SaaS analytics for facility and equipment management.”

The SJF-led equity financing was joined by NRG Energy, Inc. and previous EnTouch investor Trailblazer Capital.  An expanded credit line was provided by Comerica Bank.  For more details, please read the press release.  EnTouch is now hiring for a VP of Sales and Marketing.  More information.
