SJF Institute News April 2011: Green Jobs Award and Cleantech Mentorship Program Accepting Applications

kristyGreen Prosperity, SRI/ESG News

SJF Institute is excited to be announcing its call for applicants for both the Green Jobs Award and the expanded SJF Cleantech Mentorship Program this Earth Week! And we’re thrilled that entrepreneurship has been receiving recognition as a key driver of economic growth and that our areas of focus – cleantech and impact entrepreneurship and investing – have been present at the table during recent meetings at the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve.

These discussions have also recognized that entrepreneurial innovation is everywhere and that we must support the growth of entrepreneurs beyond the traditional hubs (Boston, Silicon Valley) to have a truly successful recovery. SJF has always operated “off the beaten track,” and is committed to addressing these needs. The Green Jobs Award recognizes entrepreneurial innovators who are are addressing environmental challenges and creating quality employment in their communities across the country. We’re also expanding the SJF Cleantech Mentorship Program to the Southeast and Appalachia to provide innovators with valuable resources and connections to grow their businesses and increase their positive impacts. See details below and join us in helping entrepreneurs change the world! We look forward to your applications, nominations and support of our work.

Thank you,

Bonny Moellenbrock and the SJF Institute Team
