What is changing?
A one million dollar research project is underway at Penn State University to examine social interactions in real time and at the individual rather than the aggregated level. Participants are asked to answer a few questions at different times to monitor reactions, feelings and physical states after different social situations.
A new plug-in for mobile phones will make it easier for people to see the same web page, in real time and so collaborate via the web. RCB (real-time collaborative browsing) enables one person to be ‘the leader’, and up to 10 others to follow the same content in real time. Read more…
