Looking for a New Job? United Indians Announces New Career Classes
United Indians of All Tribes Foundation can help you build the skills and confidence needed to secure the right job for you.
The Pathways to Prosperity Program’s four-part career class will begin Friday, June 4, 2010, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center.
Washington’s job market is slowly recovering from the recession. As a result, new job opportunities are arising everyday.
Facilitated by Career Coach Machell Louis and other recruiters and HR professionals from the area, the class will:
Explore new strategies for successful career planning,
Teach successful résumé and cover letter techniques,
Promote networking, interview skills, and building confidence in presenting your strengths and skills to employers
Include participation in a Job Fair at Daybreak Star, attended by job recruiters from around the region
Let us help connect you with job opportunities, a supportive cohort of fellow job seekers, and relevant skills to get the job you want.
This program is *FREE*, but space is limited to 15 participants, so you must RSVP.
We ask that participants commit to attending all sessions and completing the entire course.
