With increasing interest in energy and climate issues, ACEEE is adding new staff, including several new senior positions.  Please help us spread the word.  Please click on the links below to learn about each of these.

Chief Operating Officer (aceee.org/job/COO job description.pdf): She or he will be a partner to our Executive Director and will support organizational growth by further developing and managing the organization’s key infrastructure and administrative systems and practices while also contributing strategically to ACEEE’s research and advocacy priorities.

Behavior and Human Dimensions Program Director/Coordinator (aceee.org/job/human-dimensions.pdf): Help ACEEE establish a new behavior and human dimensions program and lead research and project management on the social, cultural, and behavioral aspects of energy use and energy efficiency practices. The coordinator/director will hire a Research Assistant to assist in these efforts.

Web Manager (aceee.org/job/0908web.html): She or he will manage ACEEE’s extensive Web content, including writing, editing, basic designing, and managing the content management system for our site.  The site is currently being redesigned, with the new site to be launched in the first quarter of 2010.  The Web Manager will also assist with ACEEE’s IT systems, acting as “back up” for our Operations Director.

Appliance Standards Awareness Project (standardsasap.org), a project of ACEEE and others, is recruiting a Technical Advocacy Coordinator (aceee.org/job/tech_coordinator.pdf) who will coordinate and help lead ASAP’s technical advocacy efforts aimed at winning strong new national standards for a variety of home appliances, lighting products, and commercial equipment
