Using This Site

Including your profile will allow students and young professionals to find you.  They will choose you on the basis of similarities in profession and focus.

In the “Students and Graduate” tab, you may review the current members of this site.  All have been added by invitation only, selected due to their dedication to sustainability, economic justice, or environmental concern.  Once you have found someone who you would like to offer your wisdom, please contact them.

When you write your profile, please consider that members will be looking for the areas in common between you and them.  Include several sentences on each area in your background that you will most enjoy providing guidance on.

The ways in which you can offer guidance can include discussing intricacies in your particular field, brainstorming career paths and decisions, suggesting contacts to make, and suggesting ways to build on strengths.  Please be in touch with at least one person per month.

Also, job postings and blog entries may be posted in the appropriate sections.  This will be very helpful and enjoyable for members.

Our hope is to connect people dedicated to making our world a better place.  The more people that are achieving goals in these areas, the happier we will be, and the healthier we will all live.  Making the time to touch base will also build the sense of solidarity we share as we move into exciting new territory.
