Join us at ACEEE’s first event on international energy efficiency policies and practices!

Early registration is now open for the 2018 International Symposium on Energy Efficiency. Join us at the Symposium to learn about the results of the 2018 edition of ACEEE’s International Energy Efficiency Scorecard. Meet with experts from across the globe as they discuss key takeaways and best practices from leading countries. This international event is jointly hosted by ACEEE, Daikin, the world’s leading air conditioning company, and the Energy Futures Exchange Program (EFEX) sponsored by the European Union.

Symposium highlights:

  • Learn about leading global examples of innovative policies such as energy ratings, energy passports, national retrofit policies, feebates, and congestion pricing.
  • Hear ideas about how the United States can use these global examples to strengthen policies and programs at home.
  • Listen to experts from leading global cities on how they are addressing energy consumption at the local level.
  • Participate in afternoon breakout sessions on mobility, buildings, industry, and energy efficiency and renewables integration.

Study Tour Opportunity

EFEX will also lead a comprehensive tour between June 25-29 to explore and experience some of the innovative ideas for a more sustainable energy future in the Washington, DC area. The purpose of the tour is to enable leaders from civil society on both sides of the Atlantic to engage with and learn from each other about sustainable mobility, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. All tour participants receive complimentary admission to the conference.

The price for the tour includes hotel, meals, and local transportation. Travel to and from Washington, DC, needs to be covered independently.
