Reflections from COP23

GEN Reporting back from COP23

To offer an international platform for solutions-based leadership, the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) has brought a delegation of community leaders from all around the world to COP23 to share our best practices and success stories for drawing down carbon from the atmosphere.

For National Delegates planning their contributions to the 2018 facilitative dialogue, real life examples of climate resilient communities can drive country ambition to achieve stronger targets and goals. Actual experience, backed by hard data, guides performance in real-world conditions, rather than imagined but untried proposals.

Integrating top-down with bottom-up leadership and putting communities at the heart of the change process allows us to roll out transformative processes for the regeneration of landscapes.

Check out the articles below for commentary from our delegates about their experiences at COP23 and a video created by CASA.
