Greetings from New Orleans!

Chef, healthy food advocate, and social entrepreneur Sam Kass is drafting a plan for everyone to eat flavorful meals for better health and a better world.

In his new book Eat a Little Better, Sam Kass draws upon lessons he instilled while chef to the Obamas and White House food policy advisor. According to Kass, impossible standards around food and sustainability destroy overall progress. A better food system is only attainable with realistic commitments to eat a little better, every day, in every kitchen.

“It’s vital to think of this goal as a process, a road we travel step by step, meal by meal,” says Kass.

Food Tank is excited to share an exclusive excerpt of Eat a Little Better published by Clarkson Potter, an imprint of Penguin Random House, LLC.
