Hurricane Maria caused a limited number of acute fatalities in Puerto Rico – But Dr. Sanjay Gupta- NBC’s Chief Medical Correspondent (not exactly a “wild-eyed -bleeding-heart liberal”) believes that we will see many more
deaths in Puerto Rico as this crises evolves over time.

These people that Gupta references are American Citizens many of whom WERE in serious trouble medically LONG BEFORE the hurricane hit but made much worse by the hurricane.
Our US Military has stepped up! – be proud!
However we need to do all we can as medical professionals to assist our medically struggling fellow US Citizens both here in the mainland and in US Territories like Puerto Rico.
