Shortly after the 9/11/2001 tragedy and one day after the US began bombing Afghanistan (on October 8, 2001), We, The World and our co-sponsors convened one of America’s first major Teach-Ins to address the sources of the crisis, alternatives to retaliation and what’s needed in the future.
We brought together many of the world’s foremost visionary thinkers and activists who shared information and discussed ideas that you are unlikely to hear anywhere else. Now you can hear their moving and informative words from this historic event. The CDs are beautifully recorded with CD track numbers corresponding to each speaker’s comments! So you can jump instantly to each of Amy Goodman’s pointed remarks, Daniel Ellsberg’s passionate comments or anyone else listed in the enclosed detailed program.
