As previewed in June, we are excited to announce the launch of the Bank of England 2019 climate insurance stress-test on the Transition Monitor website. You can now go online to run the Bank of England stress-test, building on our “Storm Ahead stress-test scenario report published in January this year.

 

The stress-test can be used both by UK insurance companies and investors outside of the UK interested in understanding their performance under the UK stress-test.

About the Bank of England stress-test

The 2° Investing Initiative is supporting the Bank of England in the design of its 2019 stress-test for insurance companies (IST 2019).

The stress-test was launched on June 18th, 2019. UK insurance companies or other organizations wishing to apply the stress-test can now run a free, anonymized stress-test on the Transition Monitor website. Users will be able to generate the stress-test results in combination with a freely available excel tool and the online PACTA scenario analysis software. Click here to access the tool online.
