LONDON, England — Marine hydro developer Atlantis Resources Corporation unveils the AK1000, the largest and most powerful tidal power turbine ever built.
GDF Suez, International Power enter into merger deal
PARIS, France — France’s gas and electric utility G DF Suez SA enters into a merger deal with Britain’s International Power. The move would create the world’s largest independent power producer, with more than 66,000 MW of capacity.
