LPs Investing in Infrastructure: Setting The Agenda for The 7th Annual LP-GP Forum

“Ethical Markets will be interested to  learn how much attention will be focused on greening infrastructure, e.g.  electrified public transit, LED municipal lighting, energy-efficient construction and retrofits, etc. as in my “Greening Trump’s Infrastructure Plan” at www.ethicalmarkets.com. ~Hazel Henderson, Editor”

We will be hosting the 7th Annual AltAssets Infrastructure LP-GP Forum in London on 23-24 May 2017. After consultation with various industry bodies and our LP network, we have decided to expand upon previous years with a two-day event covering a broader range of topics. Despite this we will not be raising ticket prices.   Why you should attend    We are maintaining our exclusive format and will be addressing the key issues of concern for infrastructure investors in addition to exploring where the most attractive investments lie over the coming years.   Our long-established forum continues to provide the following:

  • An LP-driven forum with the latest insights and advice directly from the most active and influential LPs in the infrastructure space;
  • 1-to-1 LP-to-GP ratio, with 60-70 of each party, for an intimate environment which maximises valuable interaction time;
  • Senior LP investment decision-makers, best-in-class managers, corporate investors, developers and financiers;
  • The most cost effective, time-efficient and high-impact way to meet with active LPs.

Interest in infrastructure among LPs in the AltAssets network is stronger than ever, but competition among fund managers for capital is at a high. Thus it’s more important than ever to be able to connect and engage with active LPs. This year, we are inviting a number of LPs that are new to the asset class to join the wide range of LP organisations that have supported this event over the last few years, some of which are listed below:

We have earned the support and goodwill of institutional investors around the world and, as a consequence, we have successfully run over 40 LP-GP networking Forums that have connected hundreds of LPs to the most promising fund managers across a range of sectors.   Over the last seven years, the Infrastructure LP-GP Forum has established itself as the most engaging networking event in the calendar for active LPs, GPs, project developers and financiers to connect, do deals and create new relationships. I am pleased to report that more than 30 LPs are already registered for this year’s event, comprising both new and established investment decision-makers from major pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and asset management firms.
